This man knows his pan. I can not say thank you enough for playing steel pan music at our wedding reception a week ago.The music was perfect and reminded me so much of Trinidad. Mello is amazing and I am very happy to have hired a fellow island friend to play steel pan. Everyone thought it was a CD playing, nope it was the real deal. Mello mixes his tunes with modern tunes to create the sweet tunes on Steel Pan. Hasan and I could not have been happier. Thank you so much Mello for making our reception more memorable than ever. I first met Mello Vibes at a wedding where he was playing. I really enjoyed the music he played on the steel drum and in general. I booked him for our wedding this past month and was very happy with my decision. Mello is friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. He spoke with me several times before the wedding to make sure he understood the details. He even asked for the phonetics of names. Mello was amazing and really exceeded our expectations. He has a great sense for what we/our guests were enjoying even though we didnt give him a whole lot of info to work with. Steel drums are definitely even better than in the youtube videos!! Super charismatic guy, kids and our guests loved him. He did a lot of little things not on any invoice to make sure our wedding at the Sandpearl was perfect!!

Our daughter Stephanie & I first met Shamel "Mello" in May, 2015 when we were interviewing vendors for her destination wedding at the Sandpearl Resort, Clearwater Beach, Florida. After talking to Mello for 30-40 minutes, we hired him on the spot. He proved to be the perfect choice. He was very patient, easy, & pleasant to work with, & very reasonable. Our daughter & her fiance were married on May 14, 2016, at the Sandpearl. Mello played his steel drums during the wedding & the cocktail hour that followed (absolutely wonderful)! He next moved to the ballroom to continue as a DJ at the wedding reception. His bridal party introductions were perfect. Pronounced our last name, not that easy a name to pronounce, correctly every time! Guests were raving over his performance. My husband, daughter, & I highly recommend Mello!! Just sorry he isn't in Atlanta. We would love to hear him play again in person!!
